Pay Range: $18-$20 per hour

POSITIONSUMMARY:

The FacilitySupport Technician position supports the work of the YMCA of Collier CountyInc. a leading not-for-profit organization committed to strengthening thecommunities in Collier County through its core focus areas of YouthDevelopment Healthy Living and Social Responsibility. This position plays a major role in theMaintenance Department team in performing repairs and maintenance to equipmentand facilities. Monitor facilitiesgrounds and equipment for cleanliness and safety issues.

ESSENTIALFUNCTIONS:

Monitor fitness floor locker rooms and common areas forcleanliness and safety.

Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs on fitnessequipment.

Conduct daily facility inspections and address maintenance needspromptly.

Respond to staff requests for assistance with equipment suppliesand facility needs.

Assist with moving equipment room setups and breakdowns forprograms and events.

Address minor plumbing electrical HVAC and general repairissues.

Maintain building exterior and grounds including walkways andoutdoor spaces.

Support emergency response procedures and small plant-relatedemergencies.

Ensure compliance with safety sanitation and risk managementstandards.

Coordinate with vendors for specialized repairs as needed.

Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.

Report directly to the Branch Executive on all facilities-relatedmatters.

Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Everyincidental duty connected with the Facility Support Technician job cannot bespecified in the position description and the colleague at the discretion ofthe CEO may be required to perform duties that are not included in this jobdescription.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Basicknowledge of general building maintenance and repairs

Strongattention to detail and safety

Abilityto respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations

Strongcommunication and teamwork skills

Abilityto relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economicsegments of the community.

Availability towork flexible hours including evenings or weekends as needed

Indoor and outdoorwork conditions

Onsite attendanceis required of this position.

TRAININGREQUIREMENTS:

Completion of YMCA of the USA ChildAbuse and Appropriate Touch classes

Completion of the YMCAs Blood BornePathogens training

Completion of the YMCAs Social Media& Digital Communications class

Completion of the YMCAs Safe Liftingtraining

Additional training classes as requiredfor this position to meet YMCA quality standards.
