The Role
We are hiring a licensed Loan Originator Assistant to support a high-producing Branch Manager and act as a key bridge between sales and operations throughout the life of the loan.
This role is involved from inception through post-closing. You will help keep files moving on time support strong communication between all parties and make sure nothing falls through the cracks from pre-approval to closing and beyond.
Candidates for this role must be comfortable working in a fast-paced mortgage environment where urgency follow-through organization and strong communication matter. You should understand how to help drive the file forward gather and tighten documentation support disclosures and handle anything needed throughout processing underwriting closing and post-closing.
This is a highly involved role for someone who knows mortgage can execute quickly and understands how to partner closely with both the Loan Officer and operations team to create a smooth borrower experience.
What Youll Do
Support loans from inception through post-closing.
Act as a liaison between sales and operations to help ensure files move smoothly and on time.
Collect review organize and properly label borrower documents.
Gather and prepare documentation needed for pre-approvals.
Tighten up files before disclosure and handoff to setup.
Prepare files for disclosures and support a clean transition into the operational process.
Help drive the loan forward by handling anything needed throughout processing underwriting closing and post-closing.
Monitor outstanding items conditions deadlines and next steps to help prevent delays.
Communicate proactively with borrowers Loan Officers processors underwriters title and other parties involved in the transaction.
Support loan structure and restructuring efforts at the direction of the Loan Officer.
Maintain accurate loan information and updates in ARIVE or other loan origination systems.
Help deliver a responsive organized high-touch borrower experience throughout the life of the loan.
Required Qualifications
- Active mortgage license
- Minimum 3 years of recent mortgage industry experience
- Experience in a customer-facing mortgage role such as Loan Officer Loan Officer Assistant or Loan Processor
- Ability to support loans from inception through post-closing
- Experience coordinating with sales and operations to keep loans moving on time
- Strong document collection organization follow-up and communication skills
- Ability to work hours aligned with EST CT or MST business needs
Preferred Qualifications
- Current employment in the mortgage industry
- Bilingual
- Experience with Arive or LendingPad
- Experience supporting a high-producing Loan Officer
- Experience with restructuring or problem-solving complex files
