A stable and growing industrial manufacturer specializing in pumping and fluid handling systems is seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join its team. This is a hands-on role focused on precision machining of critical components used in chemical wastewater and industrial applications.

Position Overview:
Direct hire opportunity
Pay: $26$28/hour
Full-time approximately 40 hours/week
Day shift preferred
Hands-on role focused on manual machining (mills and lathes)

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate manual mills and lathes
Machine high-precision components with tight tolerances
Read and interpret engineering drawings including GD&T
Use micrometers calipers and other precision measuring tools
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintain production quality and accurate records
Work independently with minimal supervision
Support and mentor junior machinists as needed

Qualifications:
Previous manual machining experience
Strong setup experience (not operator-level)
Proficiency in blueprint reading and GD&T
Skilled with precision measurement tools
High school diploma required; technical/trade training preferred
