The Row at Assembly Row an Autograph Collection by Marriott Hotel is seeking a passionate and driven Assistant General Manager who thrives in a vibrant fast-paced hotel environment and loves being at the heart of the action.

Located in the bustling Assembly Row district of Somerville our hotel offers an energetic atmosphere surrounded by premier shopping diverse dining options scenic waterfront views and easy access to the Orange Line. Why This Role Matters

As Assistant General Manager you will be a key leader responsible for ensuring seamless daily operations while inspiring teams to consistently deliver memorable guest experiences.

You will partner closely with the General Manager to help drive operational excellence across Front Office Housekeeping Accounting Food & Beverage and Engineering ensuring that every guest interaction reflects the Autograph brand and Colwen Hotels commitment to service.

A primary focus will be an oversight of the Front Office and Accounting.

What Youll Be Doing

Youll play a central role in the hotels success by:

- Leading daily hotel operations across all key departments

- Driving a culture of exceptional guest service

- Coaching and developing associates to reach their full potential

- Supporting recruiting hiring and team engagement initiatives

- Assisting in achieving financial goals and operational performance

- Ensuring brand standards and service excellence are consistently delivered

- Maintaining a positive respectful and motivating work environment

- Conducting daily property walks to ensure quality cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

What You Bring

Were looking for a leader who combines operational expertise with genuine hospitality.

Ideal candidates will have:

- 3 years of hotel management experience

- Strong leadership and team development abilities

- F&B Operations experience a primary focus

- A hands-on approach to hotel operations

- Excellent communication and organizational skills

- A passion for guest service and hospitality excellence

- The ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment

- Knowledge of hotel operations across multiple departments.
