We are seeking an experienced Manager Project Controls to lead project controls delivery across a major project environment. This is 12-month contract opportunity based in Perth CBD. Full Time Monday to Friday 38 hours a week.
This is a key leadership role where you will drive cost schedule and performance outcomes while leading a high-performing team and ensuring strong governance across the project lifecycle.
About the Role
You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely project controls including cost and schedule baselines forecasting reporting and change management.
Working closely with project leadership and key stakeholders you will play a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered in line with business objectives with early identification of risks and opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing Project Controls team
- Establish and maintain cost and schedule baselines aligned to project scope and strategy
- Oversee monthly forecasting variance analysis and performance reporting
- Drive project controls across cost schedule risk and change management
- Manage change processes including identification evaluation and reporting
- Monitor project performance and proactively identify risks and variances
- Provide assurance ensuring compliance with governance and audit requirements
- Deliver insights and advice to Project Managers and stakeholders.
- Foster collaboration across project teams contractors and partners
About You
You are a strong leader with deep project controls expertise comfortable working in complex fast-paced environments.
You will bring:
- Proven experience managing project controls on major infrastructure or resources projects
- Strong analytical and reporting capability
- Expertise in cost and schedule baseline development and management
- Proficiency in systems such as SAP Primavera or similar
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to lead teams manage competing priorities and deliver under pressure
- Strong commitment to safety governance and continuous improvement
You will work closely with internal project teams including Project Managers and Project Services as well as external partners such as contractors consultants and joint venture stakeholders.
