We are seeking a proactive and organised Science Technician to join an exceptional secondary school in Newcastle upon Tyne. This is a fantastic opportunity to support the delivery of engaging and high-quality Science lessons across Biology Chemistry and Physics.

The successful candidate will play a key role in preparing practical resources maintaining laboratory equipment and supporting teachers during experiments. You will ensure that all practical lessons are delivered safely efficiently and effectively.

This role requires strong organisational skills attention to detail and a genuine interest in science education.

Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and set up equipment for practical lessons
Maintain laboratory resources and stock levels
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
Support teachers during practical experiments
Clean and store equipment appropriately
Assist with ordering materials and supplies

Requirements:
Science-related qualification or experience
Strong organisational skills
Knowledge of laboratory health and safety
Good communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
School experience (desirable)
