Norsepower Rotor Sail harnesses the wind to maximize fuel efficiency and reduce emissions of ships. It is the first commercially available mechanical sail for large vessels. It has a proven track record of successful operation since 2014. Norsepowers project services cover all phases from sales to project delivery and operational support. Each project is planned according to the clients needs and preferences.
We are looking for a Group Controller with a solid background in group reporting and controlling to support us in our journey. You will be responsible for the Groups financial reporting and controlling at a consolidated level ensuring transparency consistency and strong financial governance across all entities. The role involves close collaboration with local finance teams and active participation in developing grouplevel processes controls and reporting practices.
This is a highimpact role offering significant responsibility from day one with clear opportunities to expand the scope over time and take on additional leadership and development responsibilities as the Group continues to scale.
Our office is located in Ruoholahti and we work in a flexible hybrid model. At Norsepower this means being at the office 2-3 times a week fostering a collaborative work environment.

Requirements
A solid background in group controlling consolidation and financial reporting in an international environment
Experience working in a fastchanging growthoriented or transformationdriven organisation (e.g. scaleup growth company or complex international group)
Good understanding of financial governance accounting principles and grouplevel controlling processes understanding of overtime revenue recognition is an asset
Ability to translate business needs and strategy into clear structured and valueadding financial insights
Confidence to collaborate with and challenge stakeholders across functions countries and seniority levels
A handson pragmatic mindset combined with the ability to develop scalable structures and processes
Resilience and adaptability when dealing with evolving priorities and increasing complexity
Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages (e.g. Finnish or Chinese) are considered an asset
