Role Summary
The Analyst is an entry-level position designed for recent college graduates interested in building a career in fund accounting and financial services. The role supports the Investor Accounting team at a global hedge fund administrator and provides exposure to hedge fund and private equity accounting investor allocations and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in preparation of monthly and quarterly investor allocations
Support management fee and performance fee calculations
Assist with preparation of investor statements
Support year-end financial reporting and audit support
Review fund documents to understand fund structures
Assist with fund onboardings and system setup
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
Strong Excel and MS Office skills
Strong attention to detail and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Internship experience in accounting or finance
Interest in pursuing CPA or other professional certifications

Salary Range:
$48000 - 72000 USDSalary range is a good faith estimate of base pay. Northern Trust provides a comprehensive benefits package including retirement benefits (401k and pension) health and welfare benefits (medical dental vision spending accounts and disability) paid time off parental and caregiver leave life & accident insurance and other voluntary and well-being benefits. Northern Trust also provides a discretionary bonus program that may include an equity component.
