Location & Schedule:This is a part-time 15 or 16 hour/week position in Needham options are: two 8-hour days onsite or three 5-hour days onsite.There is no relocation or housingassistancefor this position.

This role:As anAnalytics & BIIntern Direct-to-Consumer (D2C)youllturn e-commerce data into actionabledashboards &insights that influencecommercialmerchandisingandmarketing -driven digitally curious and excited to learn how brands connect with consumers in real-time: we want to hear from you.

Here are some of the EXCITING thingsyoullget to do:

  • Write andoptimizeSQL queries to extract transform and analyze data from our data warehouse
  • Build andmaintaindashboards and reports inPowerBIand Google Looker Studiothat surface key retail metrics such as sales performance inventory health customer behavior and conversion trends
  • Monitor website KPIs to understand content and sales performance as well as customer engagement with emailcommunications;using this data toidentifyoptimizations and risks.
  • Conduct ad hoc analyses to answer business questions from stakeholders acrosscommercialmerchandisingand marketing
  • Ideateimplement and evaluate AB tests
  • Assistin data validation and QA to ensure reporting accuracy

ATTRIBUTES & SKILLS:

  • Education:Current student in their third year or beyond of abachelorsprogram or currently enrolled in a masters program
  • Must be able to work a part-time 15 to16 hour-per-week schedulewith a minimum of 2 days per week onsite in Needham MA
  • Interest in Ecommerce Business Marketing and/or Digital
  • Academic focus in Data Science Statistics Computer Science Economics Business Analytics or a related field
  • Prior academic and/or professional experience using SQL to query and analyze large datasets
  • Prior academic and/or professional experience usingBI tools such as Tableau Power BI or Looker
  • Experience inHTML or CSS a plus
  • IntermediateExcel skillsrequired
  • Comfortable working with dataable to interpret metrics andidentifymeaningful trends
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Self-starter whos comfortable working in a fast-paced retail/e-commerce environment
  • Proactive detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
  • Able to follow through on deliverables and resolve issues effectively
  • Collaborative team player with a positive can-do attitude

Salary and Other Compensation: The hourly salary range for this position is displayed below. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market skills education experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
