Job Summary
Job Title: Locum Nurse Practitioner - Cardiothoracic Surgery

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in CABG AVR MVR and thoracotomy/lung resection surgeries.
- Perform OR duties telemetry and ICU responsibilities.
- Engage in call duties including 1-2 on-call days per week and one weekend a month.
- Conduct inpatient rounds during weekends and manage associated procedures and surgery duties.
- Collaborate effectively with surgeons and support teams.
Qualifications:
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification.
- Experience in cardiothoracic surgical assisting preferred.
- Strong clinical and procedural skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions.
License and Certification Requirements:
- Valid Kentucky Nurse Practitioner License - Required
- Board Certification - Required
- Current ACLS DEA and BLS certifications - Required
- Clean malpractice history - Preferred
- Self-Query NPDB report dated within 30 days at time of presentation - Required
