Job Title: RN Educator Oncology Clinic (Days)

Position Summary
A healthcare organization is seeking a Clinical Nurse Educator (Oncology) to support the development of clinical competencies and staff education across oncology services. This role plays a key part in enhancing nursing practices in both inpatient and outpatient oncology settings through structured education and training programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement clinical education programs aligned with accreditation standards
- Coordinate annual skills training and ongoing staff development initiatives
- Support hospital-wide and departmental orientation programs
- Administer and manage the Learning Management System (LMS)
- Train staff on oncology nursing practices across inpatient and outpatient settings
- Co-facilitate:
- Chemotherapy and Immunotherapy courses (biannually)
- Oncology Certification preparation programs
- Maintain clinical competency in chemotherapy infusion processes
- Collaborate with nursing leadership and education teams
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education & Licensure
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Active unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Colorado
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
- Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification (preferred)
Experience
- Prior oncology nursing experience (required)
- Experience in clinical education or staff training (preferred)
