Job Summary
You will:
- Support development of ENGIEs internal view on market pricing across North American markets. Compare ENGIE assumptions and outputs with various external consultant forecasts to highlight differences and drivers
- Collect organize and maintain market inputsincluding fuel prices load forecasts capacity trends policy drivers and technology outlooks. Track changes over time and benchmark consultant inputs and outputs against ENGIEs internal datasets
- Assist in developing long term revenue trajectories for ENGIEs operating and development stage assets across multiple ISOs. Contribute to streamlining and automating revenue compilation processes
- Conduct research on industry trends policy developments and market fundamentals. Analyze consultant reports and market data identify emerging patterns and prepare recurring insights for internal stakeholders
What Youll Bring
- Minimum 2nd year undergraduate or graduate degree in Economics Finance Business Engineering Science or related field with data analytics background
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel PowerPoint and Word
Additional Details
- Interns must be enrolled students in good standing at the commencement of the intern semester
- The internship work term will be from June 12026 to August 21 2026.
- This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
- Business acumen with an ability to prepare quantitative analysis
- Good interpersonal skills with exceptional organization prioritization and time management skills with a high degree of accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and be a self-starter
- Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally
- Familiarity with Python VBA or Power BI
Compensation
Hourly Range: $24.00 to $25.50 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
