    Family Community Engagement Facilitator Job Description

    Qualifications:

    Minimum of a Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university preferably in a human
    services or related field; experience with community involvement public relations or a related
    field; bi-lingual skills are preferred.

    Valid California Class C drivers license issued by the California Department of Motor
    Vehicles within 30 days of hire or before driving any vehicle requiring this license

    Experience
    Experience in education student services compliance or a related field preferably within a school district.
    Background in conflict resolution mediation or complaint investigation.
    Experience managing complex high-volume caseloads with strong organization and follow-through.
    Skilled in working with diverse families and navigating sensitive or high-stress situations.
    Experience applying policies procedures and regulatory guidelines to real situations.

    Special Skills
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with sound professional judgment.
    Excellent written and verbal communication skills including clear and professional documentation.
    Ability to de-escalate conflict and facilitate productive solution-focused conversations.
    Maintains neutrality discretion and professionalism in sensitive situations.
    Builds trust and collaborates effectively with families and staff; self-directed proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
