Job Summary:This roleis responsible forsanding surfaces light finishing dutiesas you prepareourproducts to move forward in the production process small assembly tasks and general wood fabricating.

Key Responsibilities:

Sanding and Surface Preparation

• Sand wooden surfaces to achieve a smooth even finish.

• Prepare surfaces for finishing by removing imperfections and ensuring proper adhesion of coatings.

• Operate andmaintainsanding equipment and tools.

Basic Woodworking

• Perform basic woodworkingand fabricationtasks such as cutting shaping and assembling wooden components.

• General assembly of smaller wood products.

• Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.

Quality Control

• Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer requirements.

• Identifyand address any issues or defects in finished products.

Maintenance and Safety

• Maintain a clean and organized work area.

• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

• Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment to ensureoptimalperformance

Qualifications:

• Proficiencyin using sanding equipment and hand tools.

• Ability to perform basic woodworking tasks with precision.

• Familiarity and prior experience with sanding techniques and finishing products.

• Good communicationskills and experience working independently to complete tasks.

• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy materials.

• Passion for honing your craft.

• High school equivalent or vocational training.

Working Conditions:

• The role may require standing for extended periods and working with various finishing products and tools.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as.
