Position Overview
Were seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic and supportive team. This role offers flexibility autonomy and the opportunity to deliver personalized hands-on care. Youll work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to support patients through their rehabilitation journeyhelping them regain strength mobility and independence in the comfort of their homes.

What Youll Do as Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Provide physical therapy treatments as outlined in the plan of care developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises to improve mobility strength balance and coordination
- Monitor patient responses to treatment and report progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and techniques for continued care at home
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated high-quality patient care
What Were Looking For in a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA)
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active Virginia PTA license & CPR certification
- 12 years of experience as a PTA (home health experience preferred but not required)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently while following a plan of care
- Compassionate patient-centered approach
- Experience with Home Care Home Base (HCHB) is a plus
