Forklift Driver/Material Handler/Warehouse Associate 1st Shift Position

Nyco Products is on the hunt for a Forklift Driver/Material Handler/Warehouse Associatewho refuses to settle for good enough. The individual that will join our fast paced team has no issues with accuracy and accountability because you hold yourself to high standards and expect the same from others.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for picking staging and loading completed orders.
• Performing inventory counts as requested by the purchasing and production management to assist in maintaining an accurate inventory.
• Performing order picking of product to prepare for order shipment.
• Performing work assigned in accordance with company production standards and rates.
• Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area as established by plant policy.
• It is critical that this position adheres to all company safety and health policies.
• Experience with operating industrial forklift and ancillary equipment in the securing and moving of materials for storage or use is required. Equipment includes stand-up forklifts reach trucks and walkie-riders.
• Utilizing company equipment with proper use and care and notifying maintenance of any equipment needs to assure safe operation is a key component of this position.

Education and/or Experience

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); a minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training on stand up forklift as well as on a reach truck or equivalent combination of education and experience.

**Candidates must have stand-up forklift and reach truck experience and have had experience working in a production/manufacturing environment to apply**

This position will primarily work at our Shipping location but will occasionally be required to move to our manufacturing location depending on workload.
