Your Role

Responsibilities

  • Sets up 3D printers including loading/unloading material spools filling resin cassettes preparing software programs scheduling jobs and sending prints to various machines using multiple technologies.
  • Cleans washes and prepares parts for post-processing following standard procedures.
  • Performs daily and scheduled machine maintenance including cleaning preventative upkeep and minor repairs in accordance with safety and quality standards.
  • Executes secondary processing such as media blasting sanding and general assembly.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work area through 5S and general facility upkeep.
  • Troubleshoots equipment and print issues to ensure optimal machine performance.
  • Collaborates with design manufacturing and quality teams to meet customer requirements including referencing CAD models in Creo or Solidworks.
  • Handles occasional administrative tasks such as inventory management material ordering and part packaging.
  • Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Requirements:


  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair 3D printing equipment.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Working knowledge of computer hardware and troubleshooting as it relates to printing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of engineering drawings CAD models and measurement methods.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook Teams SharePoint Excel and Word.


Preferred Skills

  • 2 years of hands-on experience in 3D printing additive manufacturing or related fields.
  • Coursework or certification in Design or Manufacturing with a focus on 3D printing.
  • Familiarity with FDM and SLS additive printing technologies.
  • Basic CAD skills for model interrogation and manipulation.

The starting pay range for Minnesota is $22.00 to $29.00 per hour plus eligibility for pay and positioning within the range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education experience knowledge skills and geography. While individual pay could fall anywhere in the range based on these factors it is not common to start at the high end or top of the range.

To qualify for this position former employees must be eligible for rehire and current employees must be in good standing.
