Evolv is seeking a versatile strategist to join the Growth help advanceEvolvs business byidentifyingnew market opportunitiesdeveloping a plan to launch and grow in our markets anddrivespecific strategic initialfocus is to develop a program to driveresponsible adoption of modern safety technology across priority sectors. You will coordinate evidence development thirdparty validationstakeholdermappingandstandardsengagement while building trusted relationships with customers associations and research partners. This role requires structured thinking strong writingandcommunicationsskills and the ability to navigate multistakeholder environments.

What does success in the role look like
Within the first30 days you will:
- Understand our current businessin different vertical markets theimpact our products have had on customers and the opportunity for growth in those markets
- Define the approach output and resourcesrequiredto map the landscape of Federal and state driverson weapons detection and begin engaging to build your understanding
Within90 days you will:
- Map the current landscape ofexistingFederal and state government regulatory best practices mandates and policies that drive weapons detection decisions
- Identifyexisting and pending legislation and fundingandthe approach other weapons detection companies are taking
- Selectspecific Federal andstateagenciesanddefine aplanfor Evolv including agenciesand messages and metrics to define success
By 12 months you will:
- Have a clear understanding of existing Federal and state regulatory and funding environment and a process to track andmonitorchanges
- Engagewithspecific agencies and progress toward policy bestpracticeand/or funding for weapons detection
- Develop a set of evidence-based outcomes from our products that can be used with customers and plan to build outadditionalproof points
- EnsureFederal and State plans arebeing executed including relationships with key organizations
- Define a1 and 3 yearplan to drive the initiative forward across various Federal and State agencies
- The Work: What type of work will you be doingBuild an understanding of the regulatory best practices and budget environment forweapons detection at the Federal and state level (identifyingkey focus states).
- Develop a practical framework for advocacy andstandardsengagement informed by lessons from adjacent safety technologies.
- Build a structured customer evidence program with GTM partnerscollecting feedback quantifying benefits and producing concise proof points and collateral.
- Identifythirdpartyorganizationsfor evaluation and statements of acceptance.
- Coordinate independent research with academic and publicinterestorganizations;track study design milestones and publication pathways.
- Monitor federal and state policy and funding landscapes; synthesize insights and recommend discreet engagement plans for priority geographies.
- Workwith Vertical Market leads todesignstakeholder approaches for educators clinicians administrators and community organizations
- Partner with our marketing sales and other customer-facing teams to understand specific vertical environmentsreviewapproach andprovidevaluable insight into Federal and state mandates and programs.
- Operate with high confidentiality and policy compliance; partner with Legal/Compliance onappropriate approvalsand guidance for publicsector interactions.
Whatyoullbring
Musthave qualifications
- 23 years of experience in government consulting public policy standards developmentstrategicconsultingor adjacent domains.
- Ability toresearch andsynthesize complex market and policy inputs into clearinsights and develop executableplans.
- Experience collaborating with associations nonprofits and publicsector stakeholders.
- Strong research analysis and writing skills for evidence packages and briefing materials.
- High integrity discretion and crossfunctional communication skills.
Preferred
- Combination of research & analysis skills paired with a strong execution mindset.
- Ability toengageacross an organization from senior executives to policy leaders researchers and staff members.

Our ideal candidatewould bebasedat Evolv Headquartersin Waltham Massachusetts however we are open to remotework for the right role requires regular travel to customer sites association events and research partner meetingsandFederal and state agencies (frequency varies by calendar)sothe candidate must live near a major airport.
Compensation and Transparency Statement
The base salary range for this full-time position is$102000- $ addition tobase salary this role offers a competitive target bonus equity and a comprehensive benefits package. This range reflects our commitment to pay transparency and equity in alignment with applicable state laws. Our compensation ranges aredeterminedbased on factors such as role level location market benchmarks and internal equity. The posted rangerepresentsthe good-faith estimate of what we expect to pay for this role across U.S. locations. Actual compensation within the range will be based on the candidates skills experience education and geographic location.
