Key responsibilities for this positioninclude:

  • Implementation installation programming troubleshooting and integration of structured cabling and premise security solutions (CCTV alarms access controls) for commercial customers.
  • Provide feedback to both Project Estimators and Project Managers to ensure continuous improvement in project delivery.
  • Provide in-house training for the ongoing development of your team.
  • Providing ongoing work performance feedback and identifying areas for improvement/training.
  • Ensure jobs are completed to the quality and safety specifications required including preparing formal QC reports.
  • Ensure any workplace incidents are reported and proper health & safety paperwork is completed.
  • Train customers to use their equipment and provide technical service support (both remotely and on-site).

Qualifications:

  • 5 years experience installing programming and troubleshooting CCTV alarm systems and access controls.
  • Corporate certification in Kantech andExacqVision is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of new legacy alarm systems such as DSC (Maxsys PowerSeries NEO IQ) Honeywell and Paradox are considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of video surveillance products such as Axis ExacqVision and Hanwha is considered an asset.
  • Ability to lead jobs.
  • You have a reputation for being reliable and approach your daily work in an efficient professional manner.
  • Ability to work in a physical labor workplace.
  • Willingness to travel and work night shifts/weekends (as required).
  • Ability to comply with all safety regulations and meet safety training requirements to maintain a successful safety record.
  • Must have a valid drivers license.
