This position is responsible for providing hardware development support on-site in the Manufacturing and Operations area for Gen6 Manpack and Comm-Tac among some other peripheral support. This person will serve as the engineering build and material coordinator as well as the engineering liaison. Primary tasks for this position includes ordering and kitting of parts coordinating builds managing short lead time requests creating and managing parts tracking spreadsheets working with purchasing to obtain quotes and lead times coordinating shipments and other general support as requested within the hardware engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter proactive able to work with engineering to meet multiple deadlines thrives on working in a fast-paced environment and is a proven multi-tasker with a strong attention to detail.

What You Will Do

• Ordering and tracking parts

• BOM creation

• Tracking/managing short lead time simulations creating routes and reports for yield and defects configuration and serialization

• Facilitating PREP reviews

• Releasing drawings/documents

• Edits format of required documentation

• Interfaces with technicians engineers and engineering managers to create/ edit documentation.

• Assists in tracking action items risk management tools and tasks in the change management tools

• Networks with both internal and external personnel at multiple levels in own area of expertise

• Represents organizationas a prime contact on projects often coordinating activities of support personnel and communicating effectively

• Obtaining or providing information or data on matters of moderate importance to the function of the department or which may be of sensitive nature

• Generally works on moderately difficult assignments which are given in terms of objectives to be accomplished and priorities to be followed. Requires judgment in resolving issues or in making recommendations

• Leads and runs Change Control Board meetings

• Other general support as requested

Qualifications You Must Have

• Typically requires HS Diploma or AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience

• Experience with Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint

The salary range for this role is 43400 USD - 82600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
