Job Description

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will support HIV pricing reimbursement and access across ICR markets. You will work closely withcross functional commercial medical and country market access teams to deliver global value and access strategies and execute launch plans. The role focuses on the HIV franchise including Treatment andPrEP and offers broad exposure across the portfolio. You willrepresentICR markets by bringing local insights into global strategy and resource planning combining strategic input withhands-onexecution.

Reporting to the Senior Director Global Value & AccessStrategyHIVTreatment our Director of GV&AHIVExecutionICRmidsize marketswill:

  • Partner closely withICRmarketteams toadapt anddrive execution of GV&A strategiesandlaunch plans tooptimizeaccessreimbursementand uptakeofHIV franchiseproducts(bothHIVTreatment and Prevention)aligned to local needs.

  • Partner closely with cross-functionalteamsto develop andimplementawareness of unmet needsHIVproduct valuepropositionsandhealtheconomictoolsto supportHIVvalue demonstration and differentiation.

  • Lead the implementation of new capabilities including Value Strategy &Realization(VS&R) tailored to local requirements and opportunities in collaboration with the GV&A triad and the GV&A Capabilities & Execution Lead.toensure understanding of strategy disease/product datamanaging payer objections including negotiation skillsfor successful launch execution.

  • SupportV&A stakeholder engagement plans acrossICRmarket affiliates developengagementobjectivesand toolstomonitoractivitiesand KPIs.

  • Supportpayer researchand insights generation (as needed)to understandHIV productvalueperceptionV&Alandscape trends valuedriversand test value messages.

  • ProvidetheICRmarketregional perspective and champion localmarketsneeds into development ofGV&A strategies and materials.

  • Experiencein regional/country market access launch planning and executionisexperience within the ICR region is preferred although not.

  • HIV disease area experience and market knowledge an advantage

  • Strong understanding of payer environment includingHTA pricingand reimbursement contractingand negotiation and policydevelopment

  • Experience developing V&A strategiesand dossier submissions including value messagesHEOR modelsand tools to support implementation in key markets

  • Demonstrated ability to leadand influence across functions and levelsin a matrix environment:skilled facilitatorcommunicatorand strategic thinker

  • Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the objective


Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree and Twelve Years Experience

OR

Masters Degree and Ten Years Experience

OR

PhD and Eight Years Experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experiencein regional/country market access launch planning and executionisexperience within the ICR region is preferred although not.

  • HIV disease area experience and market knowledge an advantage

  • Strong understanding of payer environment includingHTA pricingand reimbursement contractingand negotiation and policydevelopment

  • Experience developing V&A strategiesand dossier submissions including value messagesHEOR modelsand tools to support implementation in key markets

  • Demonstrated ability to leadand influence across functions and levelsin a matrix environment:skilled facilitatorcommunicatorand strategic thinker

  • Ability to engage and manage multiple stakeholders to achieve the objective

The salary range for this position is: $226185.00 - $292710.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation including experience qualifications and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role) paid time off and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical dental vision and life insurance plans*.
