Job Title: Copier Technician
Pay: Starting at $20-$25/hour (negotiable based on experience)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (40 hours a week)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Company Overview:

Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Copier Technician to join their team. This role is ideal for someone who understands the ins and outs of copiers and can confidently diagnose repair and maintain these machines.

Position Summary:
The Copier Technician will be responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing commercial grade copy machines at client sites and within our service center. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with multiple copier models and brands and possess a deep technical understanding of copier functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installations maintenance and repairs on a variety of copy machine models

• Diagnose hardware and mechanical issues with accuracy and efficiency

• Replace parts update firmware and perform preventative maintenance

• Respond to service calls and maintain detailed service logs

• Provide technical support and training to clients on copier use

• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach at all times

• Stay current on new copier technology and troubleshooting techniques

Requirements:

• Experience working specifically with copy machines (not printers)

• Strong mechanical and technical aptitude

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair complex issues independently

• Excellent customer service and communication skills

• Valid drivers license and reliable transportation for on-site visits

• Basic computer skills for logging service calls and diagnostics

Preferred Qualifications:

• Manufacturer certifications

• Experience with networked copiers and scanning solutions
