Housekeeper Part-Time

Landmark Hospital of Columbia has an opportunity for a Full TimeHousekeeperto join our dedicated and professional team. Our housekeepers play a vital role in maintaining compliance with OSHA infections control and safety guidelines using a professional and customer service-focused approach. Maintaining premises in a clean and orderly manner is the foundation for the nursing care that is provided at our facility.

Responsibilities:

• Cleans patients/residents rooms common areas ancillary areas restrooms locker rooms halls offices and any other areas that require attention.
• Cleans light fixtures ceilings vents walls mattresses furniture windows/window coverings floors and carpets.
• Cleans by dusting mopping vacuuming and sweeping replenishes supplies moves furniture and hangs draperies.
• Outside trash pickup and leave removal as needed.
• Strictly follows isolated and infection control procedures and safety procedures.

Requirements:

• Hospital cleaning experience strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control and safety procedures.
• Must be a team player with a strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Must pass background check/drug test.
