| Job Description: | The Opportunity The University of Floridas Student Health Care Center (SHCC) is seeking a dynamic full-time Primary Care physician to join our team! This non-tenure track Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor role offers you the chance to make a real impact by delivering exceptional patient-centered care to our student body. In this role youll thrive in an ambulatory care setting championing student health with a focus on enhancing access quality and cost-effective care. Guided by the Director of the SHCC youll operate with independence while collaborating closely with a talented team of medical professionals including Advanced Practice Providers and fellow physicians. This is your chance to be at the forefront of student health advocacy and innovation at UF! This position is non-tenure accruing. Rank will be commensurate with qualifications. Clinical Duties: Educational Activities: About the Student Health Care Center (SHCC) The mission of the SHCC is to help every student achieve optimal health in pursuing personal and academic success. Our vision is to be the preferred healthcare provider for University of Florida students as a nationally recognized leader in the collegiate health specialty. The SHCC is fully accredited by the AAAHC and is located in a state-of-the-art WELL-certified building on UFs campus. Medical services offered at the SHCC include primary care sports medicine urgent care gynecology psychiatry allergy/immunization clinic and travel medicine. Full-time leave-accruing Academic Personnel and TEAMS employees will accrue vacation leave at a rate of 6.769 hours biweekly/22 days annually and sick leave at a rate of 4 hours biweekly/13 days addition leave-accruing Academic Personnel and TEAMS employees are eligible for eleven paid holidays each year. |
