QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Valid California administrative services credential
2. Successful teaching or other related experience with K-8 students
3. Successful experience as school principal required
4. Successful teaching or related experience with at-risk English Learner and gifted students
5. Knowledge of law policies and procedures related to instruction state programs federal programs and categorical programs in California public schools
6. Knowledge and skill in technology professionally
7. Experience in development and delivery of professional development activities
8. Knowledge of prevention early intervention intervention programs enrichment programs and activities to assist students
9. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and community
10. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
11. Valid drivers license and personal automobile for use on district business
REPORTS TO: Administrator as assigned
JOB GOAL: To provide necessary leadership and assistance in developing implementing and evaluating districts federal and state compensatory education program quality and compliance monitoring review programs
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Coordinates processing of all federal and state plans ensuring that contents are understandable within state and federal guidelines and appear to provide effective programs for participants
2. Leads and completes the CARS application with the fiscal department
3. Compiles and assesses data for federal and state participants and programs on quarterly basis for program implementation and compliance
4. Plans implements and reports results of research or evaluation studies and disseminates information
5. Leads all federal and state program monitoring processes for the district
6. Supervises and evaluates classified certificated and management staff as assigned
7. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills in relating to parents students staff and the community
8. Locates interprets and applies law policy and procedures applicable to state and federal regulations
9. Aligns fiscal human and material resources to support positive student outcomes within state and federal programs
10. Serves as resource for district staff and site staff in related program areas; provides training and information to assist in compliance with related law policy and procedure; plans and delivers related professional development activities
11. Participates collaboratively in meetings with district staff and outside agencies as necessary to coordinate services and ensure integration with overall educational goals
12. Co-leads the development and implementation of the Local Control Accountability Plan (LCAP).
SALARY: $166728 - $201949 annually (223 days)
(max. salary includes longevity & educational stipends)
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with the Districts Improvement of Professional Services handbook Board Policies and
Procedures and consistent with collective bargaining agreements when applicable.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
Some positions may require proof of privately owned automobile insurance and the possession of a valid California Motor Vehicle operators license. Fingerprint clearance by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the California Department of Justice is a condition of appointment after all other required job conditions have been met. Must present verification of completion of Child Abuse Mandated Reporter training or obtain verification within six (6) weeks of hire and annually thereafter as required by the California Child Abuse Neglect Reporting Act.
