Junior Accountant (mfd)

HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017 HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season.

To support the continued growth of HYROX Italy we are looking for a Junior Accountant (m/f/d) to join our team in Milan. As our Junior Accountant you will play a key role in elevating the quality and efficiency of our financial operations in Italy. Reporting directly to the Senior Finance Manager Italy you will handle day-to-day accounting tasks while supporting the wider team during critical closing periods. This is an ideal role for a motivated graduate or early-career professional who wants to build a solid foundation in finance within a fast-paced international sports brand.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Accounting Operations: Record and monitor financial transactions within our accounting system to ensure data integrity.
• Transactional Support: Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes ensuring all entries are accurate and timely.
• Financial Processing: Manage the processing of invoices payments and employee expense reports.
• Closing Activities: Assist the Senior Finance Manager with monthly and yearly closing activities to ensure compliance and transparency.
• Internal Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to facilitate smooth financial operations across our Italian business

YOUR PROFILE

• Education: You hold a university degree in Accounting Finance or Economics.
• Mindset: You are detail-oriented structured and driven by a desire to improve the quality of financial work.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of accounting principles and comfort working with financial software.
• Languages: C-Level English and Italian.
• Communication: A collaborative team player who can communicate financial information effectively within the organization.
• Location: Based in or willing to work from our office in Milan.
