Job Summary

JOB SUMMARY
Perform skilled service and inspection and maintenance duties including greasing lubricating fueling tire repair and daily servicing of City vehicles Park equipment automotive equipment trucks and/or heavy construction equipment. Perform semiskilled mechanical duties including the general repair maintenance and safety inspection of gasoline diesel automotive and heavy equipment used by City departments.
Hours will be 8:30am to 5pm Monday through Friday
Snow events 10am to 10pm
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Graduation from high school or GED certification and one (1) year of vocational automotive/diesel trade school with six (6) months experience repairing and servicing vehicles automotive and/or heavy construction equipment; or any such combination of education experience and training as may be acceptable to the hiring authority.
Must possess or be able to obtain within 90 days of hire a valid Class B commercial drivers license with tanker endorsement.
