Performs ultrasound technical duties for imaging heart muscle and functions. Creates images of the heart cardiac chambers valves and vessels for the purpose of assessing heart functions and diagnoses. Collaborates closely with cardiologists performing the technical aspects of examinations evaluating findings and reporting them to cardiologists.

Day Shift 0600 - 1830; 3 x 12s; Thursday and Friday with rotating weekends (or option 2 Thursday Friday at Twin and a variable day at Sierra Vista plus every other weekend on call at Twin); Must have RDCS or CCI-RCS. RVT preferred. There will be opportunities to pick up extra shifts at sister campus Sierra Vista. There is call. Call is every evening following a shift worked 1830-0600 (option 2 evening following a shift worked 1830-0600 PLUS every other weekend on call at Twin).Education and Work Experience:Bachelors Degree or equivalent (some certifications will require Bachelors): PreferredLicenses/Certifications:Currently certified or eligible to be certified with a Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI): RequiredEchocardiography (ECG) certification: PreferredCardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certificationorBasic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification from approved vendor per AH policy: RequiredFacility Specific License/Certifications:AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS: Required
