Summary:
Analyze failed parts and processes to identify root causes and prevent recurrence
Generate and execute test plans; identify and categorize failures and document results and recommendations
Evaluate parts materials processes and equipment through research and testing to ensure safety reliability and compliance with specifications
Propose develop and validate revisions to procedures and technical specifications
Determine suitability of parts materials and processes for production and application
Coordinate resolution of technical issues with suppliers and customers
Support continuous improvement initiatives through design development fabrication testing and implementation of new technologies
Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal and external customers
Requirements:
Typically requires an Associate degree with 3 years of related experience
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered (e.g. Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of related experience)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience with failure analysis and root cause methodologies
Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners
Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Comfortable using computers and standard software tools
Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
