Qualifying Questions:

Summary:

• Analyze failed parts and processes to identify root causes and prevent recurrence

• Generate and execute test plans; identify and categorize failures and document results and recommendations

• Evaluate parts materials processes and equipment through research and testing to ensure safety reliability and compliance with specifications

• Propose develop and validate revisions to procedures and technical specifications

• Determine suitability of parts materials and processes for production and application

• Coordinate resolution of technical issues with suppliers and customers

• Support continuous improvement initiatives through design development fabrication testing and implementation of new technologies

• Provide technical guidance and consultation to internal and external customers

Requirements:

• Typically requires an Associate degree with 3 years of related experience

• Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered (e.g. Bachelors degree with 1 year of experience or 5 years of related experience)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Experience with failure analysis and root cause methodologies

• Ability to work collaboratively across teams and with external partners

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Comfortable using computers and standard software tools

• Must be a U.S. Person (as defined by ITAR).
