About the Position:

  • Full-Time Monday-Friday - Dayshift
  • Support a comprehensive IR program with a strong focus on image-guided procedures and patient management
  • Participate in multidisciplinary care coordination
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and program development

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with and perform image-guided procedures including:
    • Paracentesis and thoracentesis
    • Biopsies and drain placements
    • Central line placements and vascular access procedures
  • Provide pre- and post-procedure patient care including evaluations education and follow up
  • Monitor patients during procedures and manage any immediate complications
  • Conduct patient assessments including history and physical exams
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
  • Work closely with Interventional Radiologists nursing staff and technologists

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of $150000 - $175000 based on experience

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program recognized by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ARC-PA)
  • Certified Physician Assistant (PA-C) through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Active or eligible for Physician Assistant licensure in New York State
  • 1 years of experience in Interventional Radiology preferred
