Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Administer and maintain enterprise Windows and some Linux systems including servers databases backups and mission-critical machines.
- Manage and secure AWS and Azure cloud environments ensuring compliance with cybersecurity protocols.
- Oversee Active Directory Group Policy and user account provisioning/lifecycle management.
- Automate processes through scripting and support ITIL-based workflows and ticketing systems.
- Monitor troubleshoot and remediate system/network issues to ensure uptime and reliability.
- Perform routine operations and maintenance checks apply server patches and update systems regularly.
- Administer and maintain backup and disaster recovery processes using Rubrik.
- Perform SQL Server replication backups restorations and ensure compliance with data retention policies.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity operations and managed services teams on system upgrades changes and incident resolution.
- Document system configurations changes and troubleshooting procedures.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
- Work independently manage time and responsibilities with minimal supervision and contribute positively as a team player.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of Windows Systems Administration experience.
- Strong understanding of AWS infrastructure and security best practices.
- Proficiency in SQL Server replication.
- Experience with virtualization (VMware) Azure Rubrik and ITIL-based workflows.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or CompTIA Security.
- Experience in agile environments and cross-functional collaboration.
