Job Summary

Job Title: Software Solutions Architect - Hybrid

Duration (Contract): 12 Months

Client Location: Lansing MI 48933

Location Preference: Hybrid

Job Description:
As a Software Solutions Architect you will design and deliver scalable cloud native solutions using modern microservices and event driven architectures. You will lead modernization efforts enable resilient distributed systems and provide technical direction across platforms ensuring high quality delivery aligned with enterprise standards and long term modernization goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Design end to end architecture for scalable microservices and distributed systems.
Lead modernization from monolithic systems to API driven domain based architectures.
Architect event driven solutions using enterprise messaging platforms and integration patterns.
Define and govern API contracts and service integration standards.
Implement resilience patterns to ensure reliability performance and fault tolerance.
Design and guide cloud native solutions on major public cloud platforms.
Lead containerization and orchestration strategies using modern platforms.
Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices to support automated delivery.
Provide architecture governance design reviews and technical leadership across teams.

Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:

10 years of experience in software engineering and solution architecture roles.
7 years of experience designing and implementing microservices and event driven architectures.
Strong expertise with Java Spring Boot or similar frameworks and RESTful APIs.
Hands on experience with cloud platforms including AWS and or Azure.
Proven experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka and enterprise integration patterns.
Solid understanding of DDD CQRS Saga patterns and API design best practices.
Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong understanding of non functional requirements including scalability security and reliability.
Experience supporting large scale enterprise environments preferred.

The hourly range for roles of this nature are $60.00 to $90.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
