Job Summary
The Sr Compliance Officer has responsibilityforexecuting oftesting and continuous monitoring to evaluate KeysUDAAPcompliance with regulatory requirements.Additionalmonitoring activities may include but not limited toleadingdata integrity testingleadingreviewand challenge of proceduresdeveloping trainingtraining program content reporting results including to Line of businessetc.This position willutilizedata analysis tools and techniques to analyze quantify and/or assessUDAAPrisks and to evaluate controls toidentifypotential weaknesses and/or control gaps.This position willalsoleadmonitoringand recommend improvements to business processes which are necessary to meet regulatory changes and further mitigateUDAAPcompliance risk exposure to Key.This position willdevelop andmaintainstrong collaborative relationships with all lines of defense.

Moreover partnering with the LOB while balancing the fiduciary oversight roleareimportantto the Bank andin certain situationsrequiresapproval or denial onhigh-riskinitiatives products third parties and clients.This role is expected to promote an organizational culture that encourages acknowledgement and recognition ofcompliancerisks and places a high priority on risk management.


Essential Functions

  • Assistwith coordinationin the development ofa bank-wide approach toUDAAP risk managementwhich focuses onidentifying measuring mitigating monitoring and reporting ofUDAAPrelated risks.

    Assist withSecond Line of Defense review and challenge activities and escalation employing independent testing asappropriate.

    Executetesting and continuous monitoring to evaluate KeysUDAAPcompliance with regulatory requirements including.

    Deliver testing results within establishedtimeframesandidentifyopportunitiesestablishaction plans and drive solutions to continuously improve compliance program and increase efficiency

    Additionalmonitoring activities may include but not limited to data integrity testingassistingwith the review and challenge of proceduresdeveloping trainingtraining program content reporting resultsincluding toLine of business etc.

    Utilize data analysis tools and techniques to analyze quantify and/or assessUDAAPrisks and to evaluate controls toidentifypotential weaknesses and/or control gaps

    Monitorand recommend improvements to business processes which are necessary to meet regulatory changes and further mitigateUDAAPcompliance risk exposure to Key.

    Assistwith supportingthe LOB onUDAAP-related regulatory exam and internal audit activities

    Clearly document and communicate the results or conclusions from anyUDAAPtesting and monitoring performed and provide heightened awareness around significant risks and proactive identification escalation and remediation of control weaknesses or gap

    Develop andmaintainstrong collaborative relationships with mid to senior level management other internal clients and peers and Audit

    Assist withad hoc tasksasto ensure teamobjectivesare achieved evenwhereoutside usual area of responsibility

    Performs other duties as assigned; duties responsibilities and/or activities may change or new ones may be assigned at any time with or without notice

    Complies with all KeyBank policies and procedures including without limitation acting professionally at all times conducting business ethically avoiding conflicts of interest and acting in the best interests of Keys clients and Key.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or an advanced degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 3 years ofUDAAPCompliance experience with strong knowledge of applicable regulations and a strong focus on risks and controls.
  • CRCM certification (preferred)
  • Knowledge of internal controls risk assessments and compliance testing and monitoring processes (including analytics) and applicable techniques for implementation of regulatory compliance requirements and compliance processes.
  • Demonstratedskill in effectively communicating (verbal and written) results to a diverse audience; ability to work with all levels of management with a focus on collaboration and relationship management. Ability to work closely with a diverse/cross-functional group and ability to work well in a team environment to achieve results
  • Strong critical thinking detective analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High ethical standards strong critical thinking detective analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced changing environmentto juggle and see multiple projects from start to finish with little guidance and on tight deadlines.

  • Autonomous self-motivated and flexible with the ability to adapt quickly to change or shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $96000.00 - $181000.00 annually. Placement within the pay range may differ based upon various factors including but not limited to skills experience and geographic location. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for incentive compensation which may include production commission and/or discretionary incentives.
