Job Summary
Job Title: AEM Guides TechLead (Hands-on) ( 6 years)
Position Purpose: Lead end-to-end architecture for AEM Guides on AEM as a Cloud Service including structured content strategy authoring and publishing design integration approach and operational readiness; provide hands-on technical leadership and governance.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define target-state architecture for AEM Guides on AEM as a Cloud Service across Dev QA Stage and Production; configure Guides on Author and Publish.
- Lead discovery workshops and drive DITA and content strategy decisions (reuse metadata linking strategy conversion publishing).
- Design information architecture for assets and content including taxonomy metadata lifecycle definitions and governance.
- Define non-functional architecture (performance scalability security monitoring) and enforce quality gates within CI/CD.
- Provide technical leadership via design reviews code reviews and mentoring of Guides developers DevOps and QA.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Support cutover and hypercare planning with DevOps and QA; drive release readiness and risk mitigation.
Organizational responsibilities:
- Contribute to reusable patterns accelerators and best practices for AEM Guides delivery.
Technical Competencies:
- Strong understanding of AEM as a Cloud Service delivery and environment strategy.
- Structured content and content strategy experience for enterprise documentation programs (DITA concepts reuse publishing).
- CI/CD and quality gates: static analysis automated checks release hygiene monitoring alignment.
- Excellent stakeholder communication and ability to translate requirements into modular architecture.
