Job Summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide full-time on-site construction oversight and contract administration
• Ensure contractor compliance with plans specifications permits and safety requirements
• Coordinate daily construction activities and resolve field issues
• Review and approve submittals and testing compliance
• Monitor construction schedule and notify the Owner of potential delays
• Review contractor pay applications and verify quantities and progress
• Prepare daily reports meeting minutes and progress documentation
• Coordinate inspections testing and acceptance of completed work
• Enforce quality control and workmanship standards
• Serve as liaison between Owner Contractor inspectors and stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelors degree in engineering or closely related field.
• 4-5 years of experience in Resident Engineer activities and managing construction field teams on water and/or sewer infrastructure projects
• Experience with water and sewer construction projects Project Management Procedures (PMPs) and Project Management Guidelines (PMGs) familiarity a plus.
• Preferred Certifications but not required: Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or Professional Engineer (PE)
• Candidate must have reliable transportation.
• Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients toughest challenges.
• High levels of integrity always doing the right thing in an ethical fair and sustainable way.
• Demonstrated experience of collaboration in a diverse and inclusive team working together toward technical excellence

Additional Information

T.Y. Lin International is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment we have provided the base compensation range of$90000 - $110000 annually for this position and local market.
