Pilot Line Supervisor, Gas FilterDiffuser

The Role:

ThePilot LineSupervisorwill be tasked withfullymanaging a high-paced R&D pilot line that is developing prototype Gas Filters and Diffusers for specific and direct customer individualunderstands andoperatesat a high technical level as well as in a buyer/planner role toprocurematerials and schedule position requires technical ability teamwork communication problem-solving skills and the willingness to work in a fast-paced manufacturing position will have a small number of Pilot Line Technicians reporting into this role.

ThePLSupervisorworks directly with engineeringto make continuous improvements to various prototype products in the GMC Pilot line. In addition thePLSupervisorwill help trackand report progress of prototype productionorderand track delivery schedule of required subcomponents andmanage production schedule based on SAP generated forecast.They will work directly with the engineering team tosolve issues that may arise during production.They will work directly withprocurement/supply chain to evaluate new vendors as needed to ensure adequatedeliverysupply.

ThePLSupervisoralso will have responsibilitytoassistin creation of top level BOMs and routings.They will also look for ways to improve the production process and flow whether through tool layout SOP updates minor equipmentmaintenanceandother floor related required tasks

What Youll Do:

• Day-to-day oversight of apilot production lineresponsible for products sold directly to customers

• Direct managementof Engineering Techswhich requireson-the-floor presence onmanufacturingline.

• Aidsengineering in continuous improvement and new product introduction including support of new product design process developmentequipmentand process validations.

• Tracks monitorsand communicates status ofprototype/production buildsin progress. Communicate expected delivery dates to customer service/product management.Reacts to changing customer needs.

• Troubleshoot andidentifypotential solutions fordefects safetyissuesor general operating inefficiencies within the production processes.

• Able toutilizecomputer systems tomanagematerial inventory movement processtransactionsand quality management processes.

• Able tocreate/edit/followspecifications work orders andSOPsin coordination with development engineers.Will also provide feedback updates and assist in redliningsamedocuments.

• Work directly with vendors to coordinate prototype builds including vendor site visits if

• Able to work inteamenvironment and cross functional teams to troubleshoot issuesidentifyand implement corrective actions.

• Safely follow standard operating procedures including but not limited to material handling record keeping process spec and ensuring all team members are adhering to proper PPE.

What We Seek

• 2-yr associate degreeintechnicalfield.Bachelorsdegree would be a plus.

• 3 years experiencein manufacturing setting.Experience in leadership role a plus

• Cleanroom experiencea plus.

• Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively.

• Understanding and proficient use of ExcelSAPand other software necessary to support engineering and manage scheduling/production orders/inventory tracking

• Must be proficient in English language to be able to read documentation communicate and write.

• Idealcandidate will havekeeneye for quality is dependable and will work collaboratively within a team andpossessa positive attitude.

Physical Requirements:

• The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

• This job requires the ability to stand for longperiods.

• Ability to work hands-on in a lab environment for half the time and at a desk half the time.

• Use hands to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and you must be able to move throughout the department/facility.

• Compensation: $76000- $95000 per year range with actual pay dependent on candidate overall skills for the role
