Job Connect is recruiting Machine Operators with forklift licences to join a well-established global manufacturer in the Building Supplies sector based in Carole Park.

This is a practical hands-on production role suited to operators who have worked with machinery in factory environments and understand the importance of consistent output basic quality checks and safe work practices.

Any machine operating experience and basic QA experience is welcome steel food building supplies etc is valued!

The role offers:

• $34.00 $39.10 per hour (permanent rates)
• Day or afternoon shifts available (Monday to Friday no rotating roster)
• Structured 4 to 6 week training program
• Ongoing work with pathway to permanency

The role involves:

• Operating production machinery such as mixing filling or bagging equipment
• Monitoring processes and completing basic quality checks
• Following production instructions and batch guidelines
• Manual handling of raw materials (including lifting up to 20kg)
• Operating forklifts to move materials and finished goods
• Participating in daily safety checks and maintaining a clean organised work area

To be considered you will need:

• Previous experience operating machines in a manufacturing or production environment
• Current forklift licence with practical experience
• Understanding of basic quality assurance or process checks
• Physical capability to complete manual handling tasks
• Reliability and commitment to ongoing work
• Willingness to complete initial training on day shift
