The Role
Reporting to ChiefDevelopment Officer the Manager Data & Donor Operations serves as theorganizational lead for donor data systems and gift processing operations atRonald McDonald House Toronto
As Ronald McDonald House Toronto continues to grow andevolve so does our approach to fundraising. Following our expansion inOctober and the increasing evolution of our fundraising efforts we areinvesting in the people systems and strategies that will support our nextchapter. This newly created Manager Data & Donor Operations role reflectsthat commitmentbringing in a dedicated expert to strengthen our datainfrastructure elevate donor experience and enable more strategicinsight-driven fundraising.
This is an opportunity tobuild and shape how donor data and gift processing support a high-impactmission-driven organization. As the organizations Raisers Edge NXT lead youwill play a critical role in ensuring our systems processes and reporting notonly run smoothly but also actively driving better decision-making and a seamlessdonor experience. Working closely with finance and development you will helptransform data into strategy as we continue to scale our impact and deepen oursupport for families.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead our donor data ecosystem
- Act as the in-house expert for Rasiers Edge NXT ensuring its optimized reliable and future-ready.
- Maintain high data integrity across 25000 constituents
- Oversee integrations with platforms like CanadaHelps Raisely Benevity and United Way
- Own gift processing end-to-end
- Ensure accurate timely processing of 10000 gifts across multiple channels
- Oversee receipting acknowledgements and compliance with CRA requirements
- Partner with Finance on reconciliation and reporting
Turn data into insight
- Deliver reporting that informs strategy - from monthly dashboards to Board reports
- Analyze donor behaviour campaign performance and pipeline health
- Support leadership with actionable insights that drive revenue and engagement
Build smarter systems
- Identify opportunities for automation efficiency and scale
- Improve workflows across the donor journey - from gift to recognition
- Help shape a best-in-class environment that supports long-term growth
Enable your teammates
- Train and support fundraising staff on tools reporting and best practices
- Be the go-to problem solver for data systems and reporting challenges
QUALIFICATIONS

About You
You are a detail-oriented and systems-savvyprofessional with a passion for data integrity and operational excellence. Youbring deep expertise in donor databases ideally Raisers Edge NXT and thrivein environments where you can improve processes solve complex problems andturn data into meaningful insights. Collaborative and self-directed you aremotivated by supporting impactful fundraising efforts and enhancing the donorexperience through strong reliable systems.
Education & Experience
- 5-7 years of relevant experience including expert-level proficiency with Raisers Edge NXT and hands-on experience in Database View and NXT.
- Bachelors degree in Information Systems Business Administration Data Analytics or related field.
- Extensive high-volume gift processing experience across multiple channels.
- Experience in organizations with $5M annual fundraising revenue.
- Experience with database configuration systems integration or automation.
- Proven track record of producing complex reports for senior leadership and board governance.
Requirements KnowledgeSkills & Abilities
- Experience with integrated giving platforms (e.g. CanadaHelps Raisely Benevity)
- Strong understanding of fundraising operations including major gifts corporate partnerships and direct response.
- Advanced data skills including Excel query building and data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI is an asset).
- Knowledge of CRA receipting requirements revenue recognition and audit preparation.
- High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Self-directed with the ability to work independently.
- Blackbaud certification or nonprofit technology credentials are considered an asset.
The successful candidate will needto undergo a successful reference check a satisfactory background check and an immunization process as per hospital policies.
