Robotics Programmer

RidgeTech Automation is seeking a highly skilled Robotics Programmer to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate will have a post-secondary degree/diploma in Electrical Engineering Control Systems Robotics & Automation or a similar program. Robot programming experience with Fanuc Yaskawa Motoman or ABB is required and robotic welding (spot or MIG) would be an asset. Experience in the following role responsibilities is required:

Configuration and Set-up for Robotics Projects:

• Configuring and developing motion programs
• Creating offline robot simulations
• Commissioning and debugging machines at client sites
• Setting up robot safety/standard IO communications
• Programming multiple robot applications (welding material handling glue/sealer vision)
• Troubleshooting electrical/mechanical and fluid power systems
• Simulation of robots with 3D models using various software

Core Integration:

• PLC & HMI software development using Rockwell Siemens Schneider Omron Toyopuc
• Electrical and fluid power designs using EPLAN and AutoCAD
• Motion control systems using Rockwell Siemens Bosch
• Peripheral systems including vision systems marking systems weld systems etc.
• Additional robot programming and set-up using ABB Fanuc Motoman or Yaskawa
