The Lyons National Bank is currently accepting applications for a Full Time Guaranteed Loan Coordinator based out of our Lyons NY Office.

This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the commercial lending team as needed to keep loans guaranteed by the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) and USDA Rural Development (USDA) moving through the lending life cycle. The tasks include processing packaging closing and post-closing-related activities. This position will handle reporting and servicing functions which includes coordinating closing with lenders attorneys customers and agents for buyers/sellers escrow agents and title companies along with preparing and ensuring the proper documentation for processing. The Guaranteed Loan Coordinator will also determine eligibility escrow set-ups and ensure that the loan file is fully documented and compliant per policies. The Guaranteed Loan Coordinator will also handle the disbursement and documentation of funds and payment applications.

Successful candidates will possess an associates degree in a related field of study and a minimum of two (2) years as a processor or analyst in a SBA department; or five (5) years of Commercial Loan processing or analyst experience in lieu of a degree. The pay range for this position is $22.00 to $30.80 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. (Range may be adjusted for applicants with significant experience).

This position requires an understanding of federal/state laws regarding bank operations. The candidates must possess technical ability to: operate banking software and other general office equipment be able to work with minimal direction demonstrate proactive problem-solving ability deal with time pressures and changing priorities possess organized verbal/written communication skills in a financial services industry setting and strong documentation skills. Furthermore this position requires a familiarity with Small Business Administration (SBA) documentation policies and procedures as it pertains to the Express 7(a) and 504 Lending Programs and knowledge of SBAs electronic origination and servicing platforms E-tran (SBA-One) FSA and USDA documentation.
