The Advancement Office Administrator will be tasked with being the front desk presence and face of the Office of Advancement to both internal and external customers and assisting the Vice Chancellor for Advancement with calendar support. This position will perform administrative duties and tasks of substantial variety which support the administrative work and activities of the Advancement staff and its operations. This position reports to the Stewardship and IFR Program Director.

What you will do:
Key Responsibilities
Provides office presence to greet direct and address questions and concerns of visitors. Hybrid accommodation available 4 days per week in office depending on office coverage/need.
Provides administrative support functions general triage for the Advancement email answering general phone line and sorting and distributing mail.
Maintains cleanliness and a high level of presentability of CU Denver Advancement communal office space including lobby and kitchen; keeps inventory on office supplies.
Manage the Vice Chancellors calendar ensuring that engagements are appropriately and sensitively prioritized and managed. Respond in a timely manner to all requests from various sources both internal and external for the Vice Chancellors time.
Researches and compiles information for upcoming meetings that include the Vice Chancellor.
Maintains updates and disseminates office documents including but not limited to office phone list email distribution list work anniversaries birthdays etc.
Schedules staffs coordinates and supports meetings trainings and conference rooms for whole office.
Performs gift-handling duties as part of the administrative team: gift acceptance handling walk-in gift receipting and facilitating with courier as needed.
Address mail and track birthday cards; coordinates office celebrations; scribe for various team meeting minutes documents and agendas.
Other duties as assigned. May be asked to work weekends and/or evenings for attendance participation and setup of Advancement events.
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Experience Only:
One (1) year of relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned to this position
OR
Education and Experience:
A combination of related education and/or relevant experience in an occupation related to the work assigned equal to one (1) year
Preferred Qualification to possess (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience with Microsoft Outlook
Experience with Microsoft Excel CRM database.
Professional experience working in non-profit events and development/fundraising.
Knowledge of general office procedures protocol and professionalism.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities
Proven ability to work in a team environment develop effective interpersonal relationships provide superior customer service and communicate verbally and in writing.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously adapt to changing priorities be flexible manage time meet deadlines and adheres to confidentiality policies.
Knowledge of general office procedures protocol and professionalism.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet navigation tools with proven knowledge of word processing spreadsheet software and email platforms.
Solid ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Conditions of Employment
This position requires an in-office presence (4 days a week) but does provide flexibility with a hybrid accommodation for remote work at the discretion of the unit.
Occasional work during the evening and/or weekends may be required for Advancement events.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established at $46791 - $51716.
The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors including but not limited to internal equity experience education specialty and training.
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the Universitys good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
This position is eligible for overtime compensation.
