The Quest Project Pre-College Services Coordinator is responsible for the coordination implementation and delivery of pre-college programming designed to educate motivate and support Milwaukee-area middle and high school students and their families in preparing for college and career success. As part of the Center for Pre-College Programs the Coordinator supports academic enrichment college and career exploration leadership development and community-building initiatives.
The Coordinator works collaboratively with campus partners school districts and community organizations to deliver high-quality programming ensure compliance with university and state policies related to programs involving minors and maintain accurate records and reporting. This position supports operational logistics programming planning facilitation and execution to ensure effective and engaging experiences for participants.
Major Responsibilities:
Program Implementation Activities & Partnerships
Coordinate develop and implement Quest Project programming including academic enrichment college and career exploration leadership development and cultural and educational field trips.
Oversee and facilitate after-school and summer collaborations with campus and community partners including planning facilitation recruitment and logistical coordination.
Identify and develop new academic skill-building and enrichment opportunities aligned with program goals.
Organize schedule and publicize program events workshops and activities.
Coordinate scheduling with student support services.
Maintain partnerships with UWM departments and community organizations to recruit instructors presenters and participants.
Recruitment Outreach & Community Engagement
Recruit and identify eligible program participants.
Contact school personnel and community organizations to schedule outreach activities and informational sessions.
Meet with students parents school staff and community partners to promote Quest Project programs and services.
Assist with student registration and enrollment processes.
Collaborate with staff to design and develop promotional materials forms and outreach resources.
Maintain partnerships with Center for Pre-College Programs initiatives to support shared recruitment efforts and collaborative programming opportunities.
Records Management Communication & Compliance Coordination
Maintain accurate databases of student participation attendance and program activities.
Manage registration and attendance tracking for programming and events.
Protect confidential student and family information in accordance with university state and federal guidelines.
Ensure registration of Quest Project as a campus program involving minors and compliance with all youth protection policies and procedures.
Prepare data and documentation for internal state or institutional reports and funding purposes.
Student Advising & Support
Counsel and advise program participants to answer questions resolve concerns and support positive program experiences.
Assess student needs and support placement into appropriate courses workshops or activities.
Maintain current and accurate records for assigned students.
Provide guidance and referrals as needed to support student engagement and success.
Operational Support & Other Duties
Assist with training and supervision of Quest Project student employees.
Participate in Center for Pre-College Programs unit and divisional meetings.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor and the Director of the Center for Pre-College Programs.

Throughprogrammingtutoring academic skill-building enrichment workshops college visits residential experiences and exposure to higher education environments our programs promote academic growth meaningful engagement and readiness forpost-secondarysuccess.
Our primary goal is to increase high school graduation rates college enrollment and degree completion. We believe education is a powerful tool for personal growth and community impact. Many students face barriers that can influence their educational aspirations access to college and long-term success and our work is focused on helping students navigate and overcome those challenges.
The Center for Pre-College Programs serves students across multiple stages of the educational journey from early exposure to higher education through college preparation and persistence. Throughacademic-yearand summer initiatives we create supportive learning environments that encourage exploration build confidence and foster a sense of belonging as students move toward their educational and career goals.
The Quest Project is a pre-college program designed to educate and motivate Milwaukee-area middle and high school students and their families to prepare for and pursue post-secondary education. The program provides information academic enrichment resources and support to ensure participants successfully complete high school and are prepared to enter and persist in college.
Quest Project delivers workshops and activities focused on college preparation career exploration leadership development and hands-on learning experiences.
Target Salary Range:
$36000 - $43000. (Final salary offer will be determined based on qualifications and experience)
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in education social work counseling higher education administration or a related field.
Experience working with middle and/or high school students in an educational youth development or pre-college program setting.
Experience coordinating and facilitating academic enrichment college readiness and/or youth programming.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with low-income first-generation or underrepresented student populations.
Experience with recruitment outreach and relationship-building with schools families and community organizations.
Experience with data collection database management and program reporting.
Bi-lingual (Spanish)
