• Safely remove and dispose of hazardous materials (asbestos lead mold etc.) from buildings and structures in compliance with OSHA EPA and local regulations
  
  
• Prepare work areas by setting up containment barriers ventilation and decontamination units
  
  
• Use hand and power tools for material removal and site preparation
  
  
• Package and label hazardous waste for transport and disposal.
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of abatement processes and waste disposal.
  
  
• Clean and decontaminate work sites tools and equipment using HEPA vacuums and approved methods
  
  
• Wear and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) including respirators for extended periods
  
  
• Communicate effectively with supervisors safety managers and project managers to ensure project goals and safety standards are met
  
  
• Perform occasional heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs) and other physically demanding tasks
  
  
• Adhere to all company policies safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
  
  

• High school diploma or GED.

• Experience working in construction or environmental remediation preferred
  
  
• Ability to wear PPE and work in physically demanding conditions for extended periods
  
  
• Strong attention to detail communication skills and commitment to safety.
  
  

• Valid Worker or Supervisor Certification for asbestos abatement in accordance with Colorado state and federal regulations
  
  
• Minimum 1 year of experience in abatement (asbestos lead or mold removal)

• Additional certifications in hazardous materials handling (e.g. OSHA lead safety HAZWOPER)
  
  
• Experience with air monitoring and environmental compliance reporting
  
  
• Familiarity with a variety of abatement projects (residential commercial industrial)
