Raytheon is seeking a skilled mechanical engineer to support design and integration of different test environments. The individual will need to be familiar with designing using various tools (Autocad Creo parametric etc).

What You Will Do:

• Work with various trades and designs for developmental programs within the Hardware-in-the-Loop (HWIL) organization.

• Perform system design and integration activities within HWIL facilities

What You Will Learn:

• System level knowledge of developmental programs within HWIL.

• Advanced signal generation and presentation across IF and RF test environments

• Experience working across multi-disciplined group of engineers.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience or An Advanced Degree in a related field

• Experience using design tools such as AutoCad or Creo Parametric

• Active and transferrable US government issued Secret security clearance (not interim) is required prior to start citizenship is required as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Strong organization coordination planning teaming skills as well as written and oral communication skills

• Existing SSBI clearance

• Experience with mechanical design and/or experience conducting data analysis

• Experience troubleshooting systems using test equipment such as oscilloscopes logic analyzers network analyzers and/or spectrum analyzers

• Highly motivated individual with a positive attitude

• Able to work and interface with a cross-discipline team

• Knowledge of or experience with equipment rack assembly cable assembly/installation electronics maintenance

• Familiar with various communication interfaces such as RS-232 RS-485 Ethernet CAN 1553

• Knowledge of or experience with software languages such as Java C C or similar languages; scripting languages such as Python and/or Perl and MATLAB scripts for data analysis purposes

  The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
