Assistant, Associate, or full Professor rank, WOT (without tenure by reason of funding), Interventional Cardiologist, UW Medical Center

The Division of Cardiology Department of Medicine University of Washington School of Medicine is seeking a full-time (100% FTE) Interventional Cardiologist at the University of Washington Medical Center. The faculty appointment will be at the Assistant Associate or full Professor rank WOT (without tenure by reason of funding). Assistant Professors WOT areeligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate and Professor WOT holdindefiniteappointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June) meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described inUWs Faculty Code Section 24-34. The anticipated start date will be August 1 2026.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a nationally renowned Interventional Cardiology program with a culture of innovation and collaboration. The successful candidate will perform coronary interventional procedures in the catheterization lab and see patients in the outpatient clinic at University of Washington Medical Center-Montlake. The teaching activities of this position will include didactic and hands-on procedural teaching in the catheterization lab to cardiology and interventional fellows. The successful candidate will be expected to develop strong interpersonal skills necessary to build referral relationships throughout King Pierce and Snohomish counties. They will report to the Cardiology Service Chief at UW Medical Center and the Interventional Cardiology Section Head for the Division of Cardiology.

The base salary range for this position will be $20000-$41667 per month ($240000-$500004 annually) commensurate with experience and qualifications or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include an administrative salary supplement (ADS) and incentive through UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan.

Applicants must have an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in interventional cardiology (or foreign equivalent) and must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Washington. Candidates must have a demonstrated record of research and order to be eligible for University sponsorship for an H-1B visa graduates of foreign (non-US) medical schools must show successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE) or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
