We are seeking a skilled and compassionate ED nurse who understands and respects the values of our tribal communities. Together staff will provide care that meets the needs of the community and offers a meaningful and culturally responsive experience for both patients and their families.
Requirements
Specialty: Dialysis Technician
Certifications: CCHT
Experience: Prefer a minimum of 6 months experience
Schedule: 36 hour workweek; 5-12 hours a day
Job Duties
- Activelyparticipatein infection control riskmanagementand patient education activities
- Guide new patients through education plan
- Obtain and record patient vital signs and machine readings during treatment.
- Role under RN supervision
- Set up and break down dialysis blood system fortreatment.
- Insert and remove patient accessneedles.
- Monitor patients during dialysis document changes and inform charge nurse of any concerns.
- Calculate patients weight loss to reach dryweight.
- Determine patient care priorities and organize workload accordingly.
- Maintain professional working relationship observing patient privacy and rights.
- Maintain and trackinventory.
- Perform laboratorywork.
- Performs duties as assigned by client and Tribal Health.
