Job Summary
The Audio Visual Technician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing audiovisual systems at client sites. This role involves hands-on technical support for conference rooms classrooms corporate offices event spaces and other facilities. The technician ensures reliable system performance and delivers excellent customer service in the field.
Salary: $/year depending on education and experience
Responsibilities:
- Service AV systems including displays projectors microphones speakers control systems and video conferencing equipment
- Perform on-site troubleshooting and diagnostics of hardware software and network-related AV issues
- Maintain and repair AV cabling infrastructure (HDMI CAT6 fiber control wiring)
- Commission and test systems to ensure proper operation and client satisfaction
- Perform preventive maintenance and system health checks
- Respond to service calls and emergency support requests as needed
$70000 - $95000 a year
