About the Role
Wereseeking aMid-Senior Product Engineerto join the core team ofYardOS a greenfield product built for operational excellence in complex compliance-driven is a ground-floor opportunity to shape a modern AI-enhanced platform from its earliest is anengineering-first the complete cycle understanding customer problems designing solutions building features and measuring impact.

This is not a role where you execute handed-down specsyoulldrive what gets built and why.

You Will

• Guide architectural decisions

Key Responsibilities

• Understand user workflowsidentifypain points anddeterminewhat to build (not just how to build it)
• Work directly with stakeholders and end-users tovalidateassumptions gather requirements and prioritize ruthlessly
• Ship complete solutions end-to-end and own the full feature lifecycle
• Build across the full stack ( frontend backend PostgreSQL database)
• Design pragmatic solutions balancing technical quality with speed to market
• Use AI development tools to accelerate iteration and focus on high-impact work
• Integrate AI capabilities into the product to improve user workflows
• Define success metrics instrument features analyze usage data and continuously improve
• Shape product direction advocate for users and push back when prioritiesdontalign with user value

• Extensiveprofessional software engineering experience (or equivalent depth)
• Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript (Vue React or Svelte )
• Solid database experience (PostgreSQL or similar: schema design queries optimization)
• Experience building and shipping REST APIs
• Comfortable with Docker CI/CD and cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
• Familiarity with offline-first patterns event-driven architectures or distributed systems
• Experience owning features from conception through post-launch iteration
• Ability to communicate technical tradeoffs to non-technical stakeholders
• Experience translating business needs into technical solutions
• Familiarity with AI tools to improve development velocity and impact
• Track recordof shipping features that usersactually adopt
• Experience working closely with product managers designers or end-users
• Experience in fast-moving or early-stage environments where you wore multiple hats

Nice to Have

• Experience in regulated or compliance-heavy industries (healthcare financelogistics)
• Experience with usability testing or product discovery
• Familiarity withPowerSyncElectricSQL or similar offline sync technologies
• Knowledge ofLangChainLangGraph or AI agent frameworks
• Experience with CQRS event sourcing or domain-driven design
• Exposure toKeycloak enterprise authentication systems or multi-tenancy patterns
• Understanding of job queues (GraphileWorkerBullMQ) or vector databases (pgvector)
