This recruitment will fill two positions based in Helena and Billings Montana. Telework is available for both positions with required in-office days at the assigned location. Specific expectations will be outlined with the job offer and must follow state policy.

What is the position

The Bank Examinee Trainee works as an integral member of the Banking and Financial Institutions Divisions examination team to evaluate financial institutions for safety and soundness.

Examiners are responsible for gathering and analyzing financial institution data to:

  • Assess their financial and operational condition.

  • Assess their adherence with applicable laws and regulations.

  • Inform support and develop recommendations and conclusions using technical writing.
