GSF Properties Inc. is seeking an Operations Manager to join our team in Bakersfield CA. This role is responsible for overseeing capital projects and day-to-day operational functions while partnering closely with the Community Manager to ensure efficient high-quality property operations.
The pay range for this position is $25.00$28.00 per hour based on experience. The regular work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage capital and operational projects from planning through completion
Review bids coordinate vendors and oversee project timelines and performance
Supervise maintenance and grounds teams including scheduling and work quality
Coordinate repairs preventive maintenance and property improvements
Monitor budgets control costs and approve purchases
Order materials and services to support property operations
Ensure compliance with safety standards company policies and regulations
Address operational issues promptly and effectively
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
Collaborate closely with the Community Manager and Supervisor

Minimum of two (2) years of experience in property management
Proven ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team environment
Demonstrated ability to perform well under pressure and manage competing priorities
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously including off-site or external projects
Strong customer service skills with a professional solution-oriented approach
Quick learner with strong organizational skills attention to detail and effective note-taking abilities
Ability to supervise motivate and manage a team while fostering a positive work environment
Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work closely with the Community Manager to achieve operational goals
